Children / Teens
Ages 6–17
Therapy with children and teens begins with a structured intake and diagnostic process.
This typically includes:
-An initial meeting with parent(s)/guardian(s) to gather background information and discuss goals
-A separate meeting with your child to begin building rapport and assessing needs
These sessions allow for a comprehensive understanding of your child’s emotional, behavioral, and developmental functioning.
Ongoing therapy sessions are scheduled in 60-minute blocks (53 minutes of therapy, with time reserved for documentation). Sessions may include play-based techniques, emotional regulation strategies, and talk therapy depending on age and needs.
When helpful, I collaborate with schools, pediatricians, or other care providers and offer parent check-ins to support progress outside of session.

Adults
Ages 18+
Adults begin therapy with an initial intake and diagnostic evaluation, where we explore your history, goals, and what brings you to therapy.
Ongoing sessions are scheduled in 60-minute blocks (53 minutes of therapy, with time reserved for documentation).

Payment & Insurance
I am currently in-network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield (Virginia Commercial plans).
I also welcome private pay (out-of-pocket) clients.
If I am not in-network with your insurance plan, I can provide a detailed receipt (superbill) that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
